Hi guys! It's been a while since I did an AC devlog so I thought I'd go ahead and post what's going on here.

So, if you didn't know, I've been wanting to redraw the AC sprites for a while now, since they're out of date and no longer represent my current ability. I couldn't decide whether to do it sooner or wait until the game was finished, but I put it to a patron vote, and I'll be redrawing them once the next beta update has been posted. 

I'll start with the main characters first, doing Lilié last. Once Lilié is done, then I'll be offering monthly outfit packs to all my patrons with new clothing items.

I'm also hiring a BG artist to do future Arena Circus backgrounds and lighten my load, as well as increase the overall game quality, as I'm sure you've noticed I'm not BG artist ^^; 

I've been slowly reworking the code to eliminate bugs and hopefully allow future updates to run more smoothly.

Also, to erase confusion between Arena Circus Golden vs the beta, I'm going to make it so that all of my patrons have access to what is currently AC Golden. The AC golden page is going to change to just a page for the guide, and only people who have previously purchased AC Golden will have access to the guide. 

With the new BGs and sprites, I'll also be updating the game to a full HD format, and probably polishing up the GUI as well, but that will be far in the future, I want to mostly focus on getting more game content out. I'm hoping to finish chapter 4 very soon. The next beta update should be out at the end of May, with the rest of chapter 4 soon to follow.

Depending on how well Lilith Hall sales go, I may or may not hire a CG artist to help me with the art load there as well. I'd like to focus on the core of AC--the story. While I do love drawing art for the game, it slows everything down a lot. I'd really like to speed up development, but I can't do it alone.
